Terms of Service

Next Showing tracks the streaming services you pay for and the titles and people you follow, then recommends when to pause, resume, or subscribe. It is a tracker and an advisor — it never connects to your streaming accounts. Any change to a real subscription happens by you, on the streaming service's own website, under their terms. By using Next Showing you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You need an account to use the product, created through our sign-in provider, Clerk. Keep your sign-in method secure — activity under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 13 to use Next Showing.

Our recommendations are computed from public schedule and catalog data (release dates, air dates, where titles stream), which comes from third parties and changes constantly. It can be wrong, late, or incomplete: dates move, titles leave services, prices drift.

Before you cancel, pause, or buy anything, verify the details on the streaming service's own site. Decisions about your subscriptions — and their billing consequences — are yours. Next Showing is not responsible for charges, missed shows, or disagreements between our data and a streaming service's catalog.

Use the product as a person, for yourself. Please don't:

• scrape, harvest, or bulk-export our data or pages,
• probe, overload, or work around our security or rate limits,
• use the service to build a competing dataset or product,
• misrepresent who you are or interfere with other people's use.

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we'd rather email you first.

Title data, posters, and streaming availability are supplied by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability information is theirs and their partners'; the streaming services you link out to are governed by their own terms. If you import from Letterboxd, you confirm the export is yours.

The Next Showing product — its code, design, name, and logo — is ours. The data you add (your services, follows, collections) is yours; we host it to run the product for you, as described in the Privacy Policy, and you can delete it any time by deleting your account.

Next Showing is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, change, or end — though we'll give reasonable notice if we ever shut it down. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the past twelve months — which, while the product is free, is zero.

If these terms change materially, we'll note it in the product and update the effective date above. Continuing to use Next Showing after a change means you accept the new terms.
